Description of Our Services and Facilities
SERVICES OFFERED:
• Personal care, all meals, laundry, room cleaning, social activities, personal grooming including hairdressing.
• Hairdressing, chiropody, physiotherapy, optician and Dental Services are also available from independent contractors at reasonable rates. Instant Care Solutions Limited will arrange for the Service User to have access to these Services; the contractors will state their costs and terms of business directly to the Service User. You should normally receive and deal with payments to such contractors yourself, but if this is not possible you are asked to discuss the matter with the Manager with a view to agreeing suitable alternative arrangements.
• Service User Care Plans are reviewed on an individual basis, according to assessed need, but at least every month.
THE PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
Clients at Instant Care Solutions Limited Care Home enjoy the following facilities:
• A full automatic Fire Alarm system, and an emergency lighting system
• A room call system covering each room
• A distinct dining area, where the menu choice for several days in advance is displayed
• The environmental standards specified under the National Minimum Care Standards Act (2000), provide the framework of ensuring that the care home is suitable, safe and well maintained to meet the service users individual and collective needs in a comfortable and homely way. There is an expressed preference stipulated within the care standards for single rooms with private bathrooms coupled with small family scale homes. Further many care homes are rapidly implementing the best practice in providing single en-suite rooms. At Instant Care, our care homes have en-suite rooms and our homes predominantly house 7 to 8 service users, providing the much sought after homely environment.

The Room locations and area are as follows: All the rooms are numbered from 1 to 7.
• The location of the rooms is as follows:
• Room no: 1 floor front, right hand side, the area of the room is 18.19 sq. meters
• Room no: 2 ground floor, rear, right hand side, the area of the room is 20.63 sq. meters
• Room no: 3 front, left hand side, the area of the room is 20.3 sq. meters
• Dining room, left hand side, the area f the room is 18 sq. meters
• The kitchen which can be accessed from the dining room, area of the kitchen is 10 sq. meters.
• Room 4 left hand side, the area of the room is 22.5 sq. meters.
• Room 5 first floor front , right hand side this has a bedroom within the room and the area is 21.93 sq. meters.
• Room 6 first floor, left hand side, rear this room has a area of 20.13 sq. meters.
• Living room, first floor, left hand side front, this room has a area of 16.78 sq. meters
• Office first floor left hand side front, which can be accessed from the living room has an area of 13.29 sq. meters
• Room 7 first floor left hand side rear, this room has an area of 26.42 sq. meters
Vicarage Home, seven large studio flats that are attractively furnished and provide opportunities for:
· Personal space
· Retention of personal belongings
· Socialising with friends and relatives
· En-suite bathroom facilities
· Encouraging independence
Our staff team will ensure that service users receive the support that they require to maximise development in all areas of life, aiming towards fulfilling potential and increasing independence, moving on to supported living where possible.
Facilities
Our unit has a communal TV lounge/sitting room, an automatic washing machine and dryer is available through out the day, and service users are encouraged to do their own laundry with appropriate staff assistance. Since every service user’s room is lockable, they may leave valuables /jewelry safely in their rooms. Each service user is provided with a starter pack which includes a mini fridge/freezer, kettle, cups, plates and disposable cutleries.
With regards to service user’s monies, the individuals’ ability to handle their own money may be determined at the initial assessment and at regular intervals through out their stay in our unit.

The dining area offers residents an area where they can join the company of others at meal times and is also an important feature of the home. There is a dedicated office/key working room. The home is located close to an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of Ayurvedic therapies that can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents. In addition, we have close links with local voluntary organisations and are able to provide dditional varied activities depending on the interests of service users. Visitors are welcome at any time and in addition all our facilities are extended to close friends and family. We are looking for immediate referrals.
